The ASSETS project was officially launched on November 10-11, 2024, in Thessaloniki.

The ASSETS project, an initiative focused on advancing the social economy through technological solutions, officially launched with its Kick-Off Meeting (KOM) held on November 10-11, 2024, in Thessaloniki. The meeting brought together project partners to establish the framework for activities aimed at promoting social inclusion, improving job quality, and fostering collaboration among stakeholders.

Over two days, participants discussed the project’s main objectives, which include conducting research to address the challenges faced by Social Economy Organizations and exploring ways to support inclusive and high-quality employment. The project also seeks to develop technological tools, such as evaluation platforms and AI-driven solutions, to enhance the sector’s capacity to address societal needs.

Collaboration is a central aspect of the ASSETS project. By creating Living Labs, the initiative will engage stakeholders in co-developing strategies that are responsive to local contexts and aligned with broader systemic goals.

The Kick-Off Meeting served as an opportunity for partners to coordinate their efforts and plan the next steps for implementation. The ASSETS project will continue to provide updates as it progresses toward its goals of strengthening the social economy and addressing pressing societal challenges through innovation and cooperation.
