Exploring Networks for Social Participation and the Eco-Social Transition
On 21 April 2026, the ASSETS Project joined the second in-person Living Lab session organised by Fundación Entretantos together with UNED at the National Centre for Environmental Education (CENEAM) in Valsaín, Segovia.
Building on the foundations established during the previous Laboratory School session, the workshop focused on the thematic and localised networks that Entretantos develops and facilitates as part of its work on participatory mechanisms for the eco-social transition.
Reflecting on Networks and Participation
Through a series of deliberative and participatory exercises, social economy actors, researchers, and local participants explored the challenges these networks aim to address, the strengths of Entretantos’ facilitation methods, and the questions that still remain open.
The discussions also contributed to identifying relevant elements for the development of evaluation indicators that will support the next phase of the study.
Building Collaborative Evaluation Approaches
The session reinforced the importance of collective reflection and co-creation when assessing social participation and network-based initiatives.
By bringing together diverse perspectives and experiences, the workshop contributed to advancing more inclusive and context-sensitive approaches to impact assessment within the ASSETS Project.
